This pin marks the central viewing area.

This is a great regatta location.  There are good views of the race course including the launch area and finish line.  The course starting line is to the east out of sight.  They row up to the starting line along the far side of the river to the staging point.  When they start the race, they row back to the west toward the viewing gallery on the near side of the river.

Since this is an away regatta, we don't typically bring the Hospitality trailer, but there are plenty of vendors and restaurants near by since this is right in downtown Chattanooga.

We do set up a 10x20 tent in the tent area where you are welcome to bring chairs and camp out with the rest of the team.

We try to get there early on a Thursday night in order to get a boat staging location close to the main waterfront, but it is possible that the boats might end up staying in the parking lot where no one wants to be.  The venue has many places to walk around and explore.

There is a pedestrian bridge, just east of the central viewing area called the Walnut Street Bridge, that crosses the river that makes for a great viewing location.

This pin marks one of the parking lots close to the venue.  It's a Republic   paid parking lot that does fill up quickly.

This pin marks another parking option that is fairly close to the venue.  It's a good idea to have a small wagon with you to cart your stuff back and forth.  It's an Unum paid parking lot that always has empty parking spaces.
