Welcome to the Hillsborough High School Rowing Club!


The 2017 Fall Registration will be held Saturday, August 26th at 10 am at the Boathouse where practice takes place (Rivercrest Park).  For your convenience, a notary will be present. First installment or full semester payment of dues needs to be paid by this date.  See Fee Schedule  page for payment information.

Registration forms must be completed for ALL ROWERS prior to attending the Registration meeting.

New rowers who join mid year must also submit these forms and pass a swim test which will be scheduled as needed.

HHSRC Registration

Parents fill out this HHSRC form.

All crew members are required to fill out this form.
Bring original to registration.

Emergency Medical Release

Parents fill out the HHSRC form, which includes a medical release, and  sign in the presence of a Notary Public .

All crew members are required to fill out this form unless you attended the Learn to Row Camp this past summer.

FHSAA EL2

Parents fill out the Florida High School Athletic Association form and have the appropriate sections filled out by your primary care physician.
Plan ahead on this form as a 
doctors visit is required .  It may be possible to get a physical at CVS or for free at school via the Healthy Kids program.

Participation Agreement

Parents and Students please read and sign this agreement.

US Rowing Waiver

Please visit the US Rowing Waiver web page and join as a basic member or renew your basic membership if you are already a member.

This waiver is valid for one year ending every December 31st.

When joining as new US Rowing Basic Membership account, enter "HHS Rowing Club" for the Club Name, then use "6QJ9M" for the "Club Code".

When renewing your Basic Membership, you will be asked for your US Rowing Member Number.  If you don't know it, there is a link to find it.  Same with password. 

All crew members are required to fill out this form.
Warning, there is a four question safety quiz that is asked during the waiver signup process.

No need to bring a copy to registration.

NOARA Waiver

Please visit the NOARA Waiver web site to fill out your Florida Scholastic Rowing Association Waiver form.  Students who are under 18, will need a parent to help complete the form.  This form is valid for one year expiring on June 30th.

Choose "Hillsborough HS" for FSRA Team.

All crew members are required to fill out this form.
No need to bring a copy to registration.

Tampa Bypass Canal Waiver

Parents (if student is under 18) and Students fill out this form.  This form requires your US Rowing Number which you should have received when filling out the US Rowing form.  This form is valid July 1st through June 30th.

This form has not been updated in a while.  It is still marked 2012-13.  If a new version becomes available, this link will be updated.  You will not be able to row in the Halloween Regatta in October without having this form completed.

All crew members are required to fill out this form as last years have expired.

Swim Test

Parents fill out this form which will be collected at registration, and used later for the swim test.

About a week after the Registration meeting, all novice crew members are required to take a swim test, unless they took a swim test during the Learn to Row Camp this past summer.  The date and location is TBD.  Watch the HHSRC Calendar and Home page for an announcement.
