We are the Hillsborough High School Rowing Club and we currently have 45 rowers participating in year round practices and regattas.  Unlike other major sports, rowing is considered a club sport in our school district. As such, HHSRC receives no local or state funding from the school system and relies solely on member families, friends, and the community for financial support.

Rowing is a tremendous sport and the purpose of the Club is to encourage participation for as many interested students as possible.  It is also a very expensive sport that requires a lot of equipment and supervision.  HHSRC makes every attempt to keep fees and costs at a minimum for families, and supplements its budget with fundraising events throughout the year.

We are in our second year of offering rowing scholarships to allow underprivileged students to join the club and participate in the fantastic sport.  Joining our rowing team provides many benefits to the students: it helps our athletes stay in shape and encourages healthy habits, it fosters teamwork and gives new students a sense of belonging to a positive organization, it encourages them to excel in school, and it gears them towards college and potential athletic scholarships.

We have so many students signed up this year that we need to buy a new boat!  Please consider any donation amount so that we can obtain a 4-man boat to allow all athletes to compete in our sport.  Thank you!

HHSRC is a 501c Non-Profit organization.  By providing an email address, we can send you a receipt for your generous donation.
